David is one of the authors of the article ‘Decision-making under Environmental Complexity: The Need for Moving from Avoided Impacts of ICT Solutions to Systems Thinking Approaches’, which won the Best Paper Award at ICT4S 2024. David is also an active member of the Boavizta collective, which brings together private and public organisations and academics to develop methods, data and tools to better assess, understand and reduce the environmental impacts of digital technologies.
