Muleine Su Lim

Business coach, facilitator, trainer, co-founder.

For over 15 years, Muleine has guided numerous teams, whether as an engineering director, as a strategic program director in Tech R&D, as a teacher at a computer science school, or as a facilitator of collective intelligence. Now as a certified business coach, she is guiding both decision-makers in defining their positioning and managerial approach, as well as teams in fostering cohesion and cooperation. She provides a framework that balances the realities of their work with an alignment of their values, adapting to the specificities of their situation and their unique characteristics. She has co-defined the concept of “ecosystemic management”, for which she is giving a training programme, and offers innovative experiential formats such as the “Living systems ComEx”.

David Ekchajzer

Senior analyst, co-founder.

David is a recognized expert in the direct and indirect environmental impacts of digitalisation since 2019, he has been involved in developing assessment methods for the sector. He has led several landmark studies for ADEME and, among other things, chaired the peer review of the Mistral environmental study. His interdisciplinary PhD thesis contributes to the state of the art in computer science, engineering, and the humanities and social sciences. David has authored several notable scientific articles, notably on the environmental footprint of GPUs and on the limitations of methodologies for calculating the environmental benefits of digital technology, for which he received the ‘Best Paper’ award at ICT4S 2024. He teaches at the School of Public Affairs at Sciences Po Paris.

Gauthier Roussilhe, PhD

Head of R&D.

Gauthier has been at the forefront of the environmental assessment of the digital sector from almost ten years. He is a specialist of the material layer powering global digitalization. He follows most materials flows from mining sites, supply chain bottlenecks, chemical plants, to semiconductor foundries. Furthermore, he is a recognized expert in Europe in assessing the net environmental impacts of digital solutions, and has been monitoring and participating in standardization work for the European Commission (EGDC) since 2022. Over the years, he has advised the European Commission, The World Bank, France Strategie, and ADEME, among others.

Eric Fourboul

Senior analyst, co-founder.

Eric has spent 25 years working as an entrepreneur and product manager for digital service providers. Since 2019, he has been studying their direct and indirect environmental impacts. He has contributed to numerous studies and critical reviews carried out by ADEME. Eric specialises in the impact of data centres. He has studied the main models for assessing their energy consumption and has been involved in forward-looking modelling for the French context. Working across the private, public and academic sectors, he focuses in particular on the international state of the art in open data. Eric is also a co-founder of the Boavizta association.

Laurent Eskenazi

Senior analyst, trainer, co-founder.

Laurent has been a consultant and trainer in Life Cycle Assessment for digital services for the past six years, and has been an expert in digital service design and a project leader for 25 years. He helps to assess the direct and indirect environmental impacts of digital technology and to develop realistic yet ambitious reduction plans. He works across sectors such as advertising, cultural services, banking and smart cities, at the level of products, services, industries and regions. Laurent is co-founder of Boavizta, a not-for-profit organisation working to improve and promote practices for assessing and reducing the environmental impacts of digital technology in France and across Europe.

Béatrice Dromard, PhD

Software developer.

After a career as an historian, specialized in the social and economic history of Ancient Mesopotamia, Béatrice is now a versatile software developer, working on the various tools and research projects developed by Hubblo. Developing websites, extracting data, adding features to low-level software tools, she is both active and in support of growing Hubblo’s expertise in tech and its assessment. She also maintains a deep interest in the history and the socio-economic landscape of the tech industry. She has been involved in the development of Scaphandre, DCFootprint, Boagent and Carenage, among other projects.

Benoit Petit

Senior analyst & tech lead, co-founder.

Benoit has a background in system reliability engineering (SRE) and ICT infrastructure operations. To bridge the gap between methods for assessing environmental footprints and the reality of digital infrastructure, he develops tools that enable the collection of granular data to inform the decision-making processes of our clients and partners. Working primarily with open source and open data, he is actively involved in documenting, analysing and publishing data to explore and explain the complexity of technological infrastructure and its impacts on the biosphere and society. This work incorporates OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) practices. He is the founder of Scaphandre and DCWatch, maintains DCFootprint and contributes to the Boagent and BoaviztAPI projects. He plays an active role in the work of the Boavizta association on various digital commons.
